Birketts Endowed Cambridgeshire Fund
The Birketts Endowed Cambridgeshire Fund is invested and each year the fund makes grants to support small, local voluntary and community groups and organisations that are undertaking charitable work in Cambridgeshire.
The focus for grant making from the Fund is to support groups working with:
- Disability and Mental Health
- Children and Families
- Homelessness

Recent Grants
Recent grants awarded from the Birketts Cambridgeshire Fund include:
- Cambridgeshire County Council was given £1,000 to help young people homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to secure accommodation and basic food essentials.
- Mind Cambridgeshire was awarded a grant of £900 to offer a facilitated group programme addressing the issues of anger.
- Cambridge & Ely Child Contact Centres received £650 to continue existing work, to pay the coordinator’s salary and to bring their website up to date.
- Ormiston Children and Families Trust were awarded £780 to purchase resources for a project to help children living in Cambridgeshire to manage the effects of a parent going into prison.
