CCF's Funding Streams: Improving Lives and Improving Communities

Within each funding stream are CCF's Core Grant Programmes, which aim to support our vision of 'thriving communities and enriched lives'.

Improving Lives:

CCF supports projects and initiatives that aim to improve the quality of life for local people who face disadvantage or difficulty.

Through our funding we aim to improve and enrich the lives of a number of beneficiary groups. We have identified the following groups as 'priority' beneficiary groups (though projects working with other beneficiaries will be considered):

Core Grant Programme: Children & Families

Priority beneficiaries:

  • Looked After Children
  • Disabled children and young people (including physical and learning disabilities)
  • Young Carers
  • Children Impacted by family crisis (including mental health issues)
  • Families impacted by relationship breakdown (including mental health issues)

 

Core Grant Programme: Adults facing life crisis

Priority beneficiaries:

  • Victims of domestic abuse
  • Victims of crime
  • Homeless people
  • Isolated older people
Core Grant Programme: Adults with health conditions

Priority beneficiaries:

  • Adults with mental health issues
  • Adults with physical health problems (including physical difficulties, learning disabilities or chronic/terminal illness)

 

Improving Communities:

CCF supports projects and initiatives that aim to strengthen local communities and enrich local life.

Through this funding stream we aim to improve communities by supporting:

Core Grant Programme: Community Development and Engagement

Providing community assets of people and facilities to improve and sustain community cohesion activities addressing the needs of local people.
