In Memoriam Fund
Rather than sending flowers in memory of a loved one, family and friends often suggest donations to support charitable work which the deceased would have been keen to help.
If the deceased was born or lived and worked in the county and hence has a particular connection or bond with Cambridgeshire, you may wish to consider making a donation to our In Memoriam Fund.
This special endowment fund supports small, local charities across the county. Donations may include collections from a funeral or memorial service where the family simply wish "local charities" to benefit as all the funding will be used to support charitable work in this county.
The deceased will be named in our Book of Remembrance and in the Community Foundation Annual Review.
If a family wishes to make a large gift in memory of a loved one, it may be more suitable to create a permanent Named Fund - please call the Foundation if this is something you would like to consider.
