Inspire Peterborough - Inspiring through sport

Creating opportunities to fulfil sporting aspirations and ambitions at all levels, improving health, wellbeing and quality of life.

"It is so rewarding to see families playing and interacting on the ice together, learning new skills and experimenting with movement." - Gail Howard (NISA (National Ice Skating Association) Level 2 Skate UK Coach)

Inspire Peterborough have been awarded three grants through CCF.

In July 2015 a grant was awarded by the Cheffins Grassroots Endowed Fund and Ridgeons Community Fund to fund a football coach for a Mental Wellbeing football group for a year.

The participants of the group are really enjoying playing together as a team and are benefiting from having an hour of organised activity each week.

In March 2015 a grant was awarded from the Comic Relief Local Communities Programme to set up an Inclusive Ice Skating group in Peterborough. We look forward to hearing how the project is going in September 2015.
