LEP announce that Phase Two of the LEP Prize Challenge is now open for applications from charities and social enterprises from across our area.

The LEP Prize Challenge is a £1 million fund created to help those furthest from the workplace to get skills and support they need to become work ready, and ultimately get back into work.

Up to seven organisations will benefit from £40,000 of funding each to support innovative new projects that will help those furthest from the workplace gain the skills they need to get back into work.

The ultimate ambition is to support 1,000 disadvantaged people to become job-ready and 250 to gain paid employment through the LEP Prize Challenge by the end of 2017
