The 2014 Government ‘Youth Social Action Survey’ showed that young people living in the East of England had youth social action* participation rates of 25% compared to a national rate of 40%.

In response, the Eastern region has been allocated money from the Cabinet Office for The Local Youth Social Action Fund delivered by the Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire Community Foundations.   The government money is to be matched by local donors.
