Grants of £1,000-£3,000 are available to groups that are based in Peterborough working to help local young people with a learning disability to access positive activities and opportunities to develop their full potential.

Recent Awards

Examples of grants awarded include:

St Michael’s Pre-School received £300 to purchase a range of puppets and train Practitioner’s to support children with special needs (Autism/ADHA) through play

Little Miracles received £5000 to cover session costs for an increased number of families.

Headway Cambridgeshire received £2900 to help seven young people to re assess their strengths & skills + advisor training & mentoring.

The Social Group received £350 to cover liability insurance to cover the group activities for a year.

Peterborough Area Downs Syndrome Group received £3000 towards speech and language therapy for people with Downs Syndrome.
